By the EradiTatt team · Laser tattoo removal specialists in Tampa Bay and Orlando since 2015

Short answer: Winter Garden clients are treated at EradiTatt Orlando, 9430 Turkey Lake Rd, Suite 116, in the Dr. Phillips area. From downtown Winter Garden that is usually a drive of about 20 to 30 minutes. A session costs $100 to $600 depending only on the size of the tattoo, and a 4-session pack saves 20%. Most people need 8 to 12 sessions spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart for full removal, and fewer if the goal is fading for a cover-up. The consultation is free, and each laser appointment usually takes just 5 to 15 minutes. Questions? Call the Orlando clinic at (407) 278-7066.

Winter Garden has changed a lot in the last twenty years. The brick-lined downtown on Plant Street, the Saturday farmers market and the West Orange Trail still give it a small-town feel, while new neighborhoods in Horizon West, Hamlin and along SR 429 have brought in thousands of young families and commuters. Plenty of those residents have a tattoo they’ve outgrown: a name, a design from college, a piece that blurred over time, or brows that healed darker than planned.

If you search for tattoo removal from a Winter Garden address, the results are mostly tattoo shops, brow studios, med spas and dermatology offices, places where removal is one item on a long menu. The few pages written for Winter Garden are short, and none of them list a price or explain how to get to the clinic. This guide is meant to fill that gap. It covers who treats you, what it costs by size, how many sessions to plan for, how to get from Winter Garden to our Turkey Lake Road clinic, and how to fit removal around an outdoor Central Florida lifestyle.

Is there a tattoo removal clinic in Winter Garden?

EradiTatt does not have an office inside Winter Garden city limits. Winter Garden clients come to our Orlando clinic at 9430 Turkey Lake Rd, Suite 116, Orlando, FL 32819, in the Dr. Phillips area near Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. There’s garage parking, and the clinic is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Why drive 20 or 30 minutes when a med spa may be closer? Because laser tattoo removal is a specialty in its own right. The results depend on the laser, the settings chosen for your ink and skin, and the judgment of the person treating you. EradiTatt has done one thing since 2015: laser tattoo removal. We don’t sell facials, injectables or hair removal on the side. Every visit, every consultation and every treatment plan is about getting ink out of skin safely.

If you live on the Windermere side of Winter Garden, our Windermere tattoo removal page has routes from the Butler Chain, Isleworth and Keene’s Pointe. Clients farther south often compare us with options in Osceola County; our Kissimmee tattoo removal guide covers that side of the metro.

Who performs tattoo removal at the Orlando clinic?

Treatments are performed by owner Melissa Hoperich, FNP, a family nurse practitioner. The person who looks at your tattoo during the consultation is the same person who plans your settings and holds the laser. You aren’t handed off to a rotating technician from one visit to the next, so your progress is tracked by someone who has seen every session.

Erica, our administrative technician, handles scheduling, paperwork and appointment coordination. She also runs the Zimmer cooling unit during treatment and helps with bandaging afterward. Most clients get to know both of them well over the course of a year of visits.

The equipment: PiQo4 laser and Zimmer Cryo 6 cooling

We use the PiQo4, a laser with four wavelengths that can fire in both picosecond and nanosecond pulses. Different ink colors absorb different wavelengths, and different pulse lengths suit different particle sizes. Having both in one machine lets us match the settings to dense black linework, colored designs, and older ink that has already faded. If you’re curious how it compares with the lasers other clinics advertise, read our PiQo4 vs PicoSure vs PicoWay comparison.

During every pass, the Zimmer Cryo 6 blows chilled air across the skin. It makes treatment noticeably more comfortable and calms the heat right after. Our page on managing pain during laser tattoo removal covers other comfort options.

What tattoos can be removed?

We treat three broad kinds of work:

When treatment has to wait

Laser treatment isn’t right for everyone at every moment. We hold off if you are pregnant, have taken Accutane in the last six months, take anticoagulants, have an autoimmune condition, have a recent tan on the area, or have a strong allergy to tattoo ink. Tell us about any of these when you book, and we’ll plan a start date that is safe for you.

How much does tattoo removal cost for Winter Garden clients?

Winter Garden clients pay the same rates as everyone else at the Orlando clinic. The price depends on one thing: the size of the tattoo. Color, age and placement don’t change the price per session. Here is our full price table.

Size Roughly the size of Per session 4-session pack (20% off)
XX-Small Smaller than a quarter $100 $320
X-Small Smaller than a credit card $175 $560
Small Smaller than a dollar bill $225 $720
Medium Smaller than a CD $300 $960
Large Smaller than a DVD case $400 $1,280
X-Large Up to a sheet of paper $600 $1,920

Three worked examples

These examples show how the math works. They aren’t quotes, because your own session count depends on your ink, colors, depth and skin.

Two discounts can bring the total down. Military members and veterans save 15%, and you get a $50 credit for each friend you refer who books with us. Our guide to tattoo removal for military members has more on the veteran discount.

Will tattoo removal get cheaper if I wait?

It’s a common autocomplete question, and the honest answer is that waiting rarely saves money. Pricing at most clinics, including ours, is set per session by size, and the number of sessions you need doesn’t shrink while you wait. Starting sooner means finishing sooner. We cover this in more depth in will tattoo removal get cheaper?

How many sessions of laser tattoo removal will I need?

Most clients need 8 to 12 sessions for full removal, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart. That puts most full-removal plans at a year or longer. Fading for a cover-up usually takes fewer visits, because the goal is lighter, not gone.

The pace is set by your body, not the laser. Each session breaks ink into smaller fragments, and your immune system then clears those fragments over the following weeks. Booking sessions closer together doesn’t speed that up and adds stress to the skin. Our explainers on how many laser tattoo removal sessions you’ll need and why removal takes multiple sessions go deeper.

What changes the number of sessions?

Factor Usually fewer sessions Usually more sessions
Goal Fading for a cover-up Complete removal
Ink density Fine linework, amateur or single-pass work Dense professional shading, layered cover-ups
Color Black and dark gray Some greens, blues and lighter shades
Age of the tattoo Older ink that has already softened Newer, crisp ink
Placement Areas closer to the heart, with good circulation Hands, ankles and feet
Between-session habits Good aftercare, sun protection, no smoking Tanning, missed aftercare, smoking

Dark, dense tattoos are a frequent concern. They tend to sit toward the higher end of the range, but black ink also absorbs laser energy well, so steady progress is normal. If you want to see what that progress looks like, browse real client photos on our results and reviews page.

What happens at your first visit?

Your first step is a free consultation. We look at the size, colors, age and placement of the tattoo, ask about your health and medications, and talk about your goal, whether that’s full removal or fading. You leave with a clear price and an honest estimate of sessions. There’s no pressure to book on the spot.

On treatment day, the area is cleaned, you get eye protection, and the Zimmer starts cooling the skin. Laser time is usually 5 to 15 minutes, depending on size. Many people describe the feeling as a rubber band snapping against the skin, eased by the cold air. Right after, the area often turns white for a few minutes (called frosting) and then red and slightly swollen. The full sequence is explained on our laser tattoo removal process page.

Aftercare in the first days

Driving from Winter Garden to Turkey Lake Road

Winter Garden stretches from the shore of Lake Apopka in the north to the Horizon West communities in the south, so your best route depends on where you start. Drive times below are approximate and assume normal daytime traffic.

From downtown Winter Garden and Plant Street

Head south on Winter Garden-Vineland Road (CR 535) toward Windermere, then go east to Apopka-Vineland Road and south to Sand Lake Road. Turn left (east) on Sand Lake Road, then right (south) on Turkey Lake Road. The clinic is at 9430 Turkey Lake Rd, Suite 116. Expect about 20 to 30 minutes.

From the SR 50 corridor and Winter Garden Village

If you’re near Winter Garden Village at Fowler Groves or the SR 429 interchange on West Colonial Drive, many drivers use the toll roads to skip local lights, while others take CR 535 south as above. Both routes end with the same approach along Sand Lake Road and Turkey Lake Road. Plan on about 20 to 30 minutes, a little longer at rush hour.

From Horizon West, Hamlin and southern Winter Garden

Take Winter Garden-Vineland Road (CR 535) south toward Lake Buena Vista, then Palm Parkway north to Turkey Lake Road. Allow about 25 to 35 minutes.

Sand Lake Road through Dr. Phillips gets busy at lunch and in the evening, so a mid-morning appointment is usually the easiest trip. Saturday appointments (10 AM to 3 PM) are popular with commuters who work downtown or near the attractions during the week. For live traffic, open Google Maps directions from Winter Garden.

Tattoo removal and the west Orange County lifestyle

A lot of Winter Garden life happens outdoors: cycling or running the West Orange Trail, the Saturday farmers market downtown, fishing or birding around Lake Apopka, youth sports at local parks, and pool days in the newer neighborhoods. None of that has to stop during tattoo removal. It just takes a little planning around each session.

Sun is the big one

Central Florida sun is strong most of the year. Tanned skin raises the risk of pigment changes after laser treatment, so we ask every client to keep the area out of the sun and away from tanning for at least 4 weeks before each session. If you show up with a fresh tan on the area, the appointment gets moved. Once the skin has healed after a session, cover the area with clothing or use sunscreen every time it’s outdoors. Our guide to sun after tattoo removal has a week-by-week plan.

Pools, lakes and sweat

Skip workouts for 24 hours after a session, and keep the area covered for the first 2 to 3 days. Hold off on swimming until the skin has healed; open water like Lake Apopka or the Butler Chain carries more bacteria than a chlorinated pool. Our article on how long to wait before swimming after tattoo removal gives the details.

Timing your start

Many clients like to start in the cooler months, when long sleeves are comfortable and outdoor exposure is easier to manage. Read the best time of year to start tattoo removal in Florida to see how the seasons affect planning. If you have a date in mind, such as a wedding, a new job or a military enlistment, tell us at the consultation so we can work backward from it.

Do creams or home remedies remove tattoos?

Search suggestions for Winter Garden tattoo removal include things like bentonite clay and neem oil. These products don’t reach the ink, which sits in the dermis below the surface layer of skin. At best they do nothing; at worst they irritate or scar the skin, which can make later laser treatment harder. Saline removal, offered by some brow studios, is a different, non-laser method and isn’t something we perform. For a fuller look at the options, read do tattoo removal creams work? and common misconceptions about laser tattoo removal.

Our other Florida clinics

For Winter Garden, Orlando is our closest clinic by far. If you split time between Central Florida and the Gulf Coast, our Tampa clinic on Westshore Boulevard charges the same prices and follows the same approach, so a treatment plan can continue there. See every office on our Florida locations page.

Frequently asked questions from Winter Garden clients

Is there an EradiTatt clinic in Winter Garden?

How long is the drive from Winter Garden?

About 20 to 30 minutes from downtown Winter Garden, and about 25 to 35 minutes from Horizon West. Rush hour on Sand Lake Road can add time, so mid-morning and Saturday slots are the easiest.

How much does tattoo removal cost?

From $100 to $600 per session depending on size, with 4-session packs at 20% off ($320 to $1,920). Military members and veterans save 15%. Send a photo through our photo quote form for your size tier.

How many sessions of laser tattoo removal will I need?

Most people need 8 to 12 sessions for full removal, 6 to 8 weeks apart. Fading for a cover-up usually takes fewer. You’ll get a personal estimate at your free consultation.

How long does each appointment take?

Laser time is usually 5 to 15 minutes. With check-in and bandaging, most visits are short enough to fit into a lunch break or a Saturday morning. Read more in how long a laser session takes.

Does laser tattoo removal hurt?

Most people compare it to a rubber band snap. The Zimmer Cryo 6 cools the skin throughout, which makes a real difference, and the laser time is short.

Can you remove microblading or powder brows?

Yes. We treat cosmetic brow ink with the PiQo4, including microblading, powder brows and traditional eyebrow tattoos. Bring a photo of the original brows to your consultation if you have one.

Can you fade a tattoo for a cover-up instead of removing it?

Yes. Fading is common and usually takes fewer sessions than full removal. Many clients coordinate with their tattoo artist so the new design goes on once the old ink is light enough.

Who can’t have laser tattoo removal?

We wait to treat anyone who is pregnant, has taken Accutane in the past six months, takes anticoagulants, has an autoimmune condition, has a recent tan on the area, or has a strong ink allergy.
