Tattoo removal is the only thing we do

If you search for tattoo removal from a Windermere address, the results are a mix of practices for whom tattoos are a side service: an eye and facial surgery practice, a medical spa, a dermatology office and a brow studio. Each has its own specialty. Ours is narrower. EradiTatt has removed tattoos with lasers since 2015, and that is all we offer, at every one of our Florida clinics.

What you get at the Turkey Lake Road clinic:

  • One clinician you can get to know. Treatments are performed by owner Melissa Hoperich, FNP, a family nurse practitioner, so the person who plans your removal is the one holding the laser.
  • PiQo4 laser technology. The PiQo4 has four wavelengths and fires in both picosecond and nanosecond pulses. That range lets settings be matched to dense black work, colored areas and older, already-faded ink.
  • Zimmer Cryo 6 cooling. Chilled air is blown across the skin during each pass to make treatment more comfortable.
  • Prices you can see before you book. Our rates are set by tattoo size and listed below, and the first consultation is free.

Which ink we can take off

Most people who come to us want a body tattoo gone completely, whether it is a single-color script on the wrist or a full-color piece across the shoulder. Plenty of others only need fading: a tattoo artist has a cover-up planned, and the old work has to be lighter first so it doesn’t show through. Fading generally needs fewer visits than full removal.

Microblading, powder brows and eyebrow tattoos

Brow work is a big part of the search results around Windermere, and some of what you will find there is saline removal, a non-laser method. We use the laser for cosmetic brow ink too, including microblading, powder brows and traditional eyebrow tattoos. If a brow tattoo healed too dark, shifted color or simply isn’t the shape you want anymore, bring it to the consultation and we will talk through what lightening it involves. Our guide to permanent makeup removal covers the basics.

When we hold off

Treatment waits if you are pregnant, have taken Accutane in the last six months, use anticoagulants, live with an autoimmune condition, have a fresh tan over the area, or have a strong allergy to tattoo ink. Mention any of these when you book so we can plan a start date that is safe for you.

What it costs

Windermere clients pay the same rates as anyone else who walks into the Orlando clinic. Price depends only on how big the tattoo is: one session costs between $100 and $600, and a bundle of four sessions is 20% less than paying one visit at a time.

Size Roughly Per session 4-session pack (20% off)
XX-Small smaller than a quarter $100 $320
X-Small smaller than a credit card $175 $560
Small smaller than a dollar bill $225 $720
Medium smaller than a CD $300 $960
Large smaller than a DVD case $400 $1,280
X-Large up to a sheet of paper $600 $1,920

A worked example: a small brow or wrist tattoo that is under the size of a quarter is XX-Small, at $100 a session or $320 for four. A script tattoo across the forearm that fits within a dollar bill falls under Small, at $225 a session or $720 for four. Those figures are for illustration; your session count depends on the ink, colors, depth and your skin, and you will get a personal estimate at the consultation.

Veterans and active-duty service members save 15%. Refer a friend who books with us and you get a $50 credit. If you aren’t sure which size tier applies, upload a picture through our photo quote form. The laser tattoo removal cost page explains the tiers, and our Orlando tattoo removal cost guide breaks down what a full plan usually adds up to.

Planning your sessions

Full removal usually takes 8 to 12 sessions, with 6 to 8 weeks between them. The laser shatters ink into fragments, then your immune system carries those fragments away over the following weeks. That clearing step sets the pace, which is why booking visits closer together doesn’t speed anything up. For most people, complete removal is a project of a year or longer.

The good news is how little time each visit takes. Laser time is typically 5 to 15 minutes, so a Saturday morning appointment leaves the rest of the weekend free. We explain each step in our laser tattoo removal process, and you can look through client results and reviews before your first visit.

Driving from Windermere to Turkey Lake Road

“Windermere” covers a lot of ground. The incorporated town is small, about 3,000 residents on a strip of land between Lake Down and Lake Butler, but the 34786 ZIP code reaches out to Isleworth, Keene’s Pointe and the newer neighborhoods along the Horizon West edge. Your route depends on which part you start from.

  1. From the town center, Isleworth or the Butler Chain: make your way east to Apopka-Vineland Road and head south. Turn left (east) on Sand Lake Road, then right (south) on Turkey Lake Road. The clinic is at 9430 Turkey Lake Rd, Suite 116. Expect about 15 to 25 minutes.
  2. From the north side, near Conroy-Windermere Road: Conroy-Windermere Road leads east to Apopka-Vineland Road, and from there the route is the same, south to Sand Lake Road and onto Turkey Lake Road.
  3. From southern Windermere and the Horizon West area: take Winter Garden-Vineland Road (CR 535) south toward Lake Buena Vista, then Palm Parkway north to Turkey Lake Road. Plan on roughly 25 to 35 minutes.

Sand Lake Road through Dr. Phillips gets busy at lunch and in the evening, so a mid-morning appointment is usually the smoother trip. For live traffic, open Google Maps directions from Windermere.

Lake days, golf and sun between sessions

A lot of Windermere life happens outside: boating on the Butler Chain of Lakes, a round of golf, practice on a school field, a walk through the brick and dirt streets downtown. None of that has to stop, but laser-treated skin needs protection from the sun.

  • Before a session: no sun or tanning on the tattoo for at least 4 weeks. A tan on the area means the appointment gets moved.
  • Right after: skip exercise for 24 hours, and keep the spot covered for 2 to 3 days.
  • On the boat or the course: cover the area with clothing, or use sunscreen once the skin has healed, every time the tattoo is out in the sun.

Questions from Windermere clients

Is there an EradiTatt clinic in Windermere?

Not inside Windermere. Clients from Windermere come to our Orlando clinic at 9430 Turkey Lake Rd, Suite 116, near Dr. Phillips. It’s open Monday to Friday 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 3 PM.

How long is the drive from Windermere to the clinic?

From the town center it’s about 8 miles, usually about 15 to 25 minutes via Apopka-Vineland Road, Sand Lake Road and Turkey Lake Road. From southern Windermere near Horizon West, allow about 25 to 35 minutes.

Can you remove microblading or powder brows with the laser?

Yes. We treat cosmetic brow ink, including microblading, powder brows and eyebrow tattoos, with the PiQo4 laser. At your free consultation we look at the brows and explain how many sessions lightening or removal is likely to take.

Do you post your prices?

Yes. Prices are by size, from $100 per session for XX-Small up to $600 for X-Large. Each size also comes as a 4-session pack at 20% off, and veterans and active-duty military get 15% off.

I spend a lot of time on the Butler Chain. Can I still get treated?

Yes, as long as the tattoo stays out of the sun. It must not be tanned for at least 4 weeks before each session, should stay covered for 2 to 3 days afterward, and needs clothing or sunscreen whenever you’re out on the water.

Who does the treatment?

Owner Melissa Hoperich, FNP, a family nurse practitioner, performs the treatments. Tattoo removal is the only service EradiTatt offers.

How many appointments will I need?

Most clients need 8 to 12 sessions for full removal, 6 to 8 weeks apart. Fading a tattoo for a cover-up usually takes fewer. The laser part of each visit is short, typically 5 to 15 minutes.

Can I get a price before I drive over?

Yes. Send a photo through the photo quote form on our website and we’ll tell you which size tier your tattoo falls in. The consultation at the clinic is free as well.
