Tattoo Removal Frequently Asked Questions

We meet many people every day and we will try to answer some of the most common questions here.

We really wish we could give you a precise answer, instead a direct one will have to do. Everyone is different and every removal is different. The two factors that determine cost are the size of tattoo (which is easy to determine), and the number of sessions. Unfortunately the number of sessions is hard to determine without a consultation, so we recommend making one so we can give you a better idea of how many sessions we think it will take.

Short answer is, most likely yes. There are a few exceptions, however, in most cases your tattoo will be completely gone with some time, and a good laser. There are a few colors that are more difficult to remove than others however some people still achieve full removal. Those colors are yellow and sky blue.

Everyone has a different tolerance to pain but most people that get tattoo can remove them. We have a few options for pain management such as our Zimmer Chiller which blasts cold air (-30 degrees), the use of topical numbing creams, and if needed, injectable litacane.

Tattoo removal is considered cosmetic and will not be covered by insurance. However, you can pay per session and come less frequently to match your budget.

It’s a minimum of 4 weeks between sessions. However, sometimes we wait 6 or 8 weeks if your tattoo doesn’t seem fully healed. There is no maximum time before you have to come in for your next session.
