Where Plant City clients go: EradiTatt Tampa, 1715 N Westshore Blvd, Suite 100, Tampa, FL 33607, inside Infinity Medical Institute near International Plaza and Tampa International Airport. From Plant City it is roughly 29 miles, nearly all of it on I-4 and I-275, so plan on about 40 to 50 minutes when traffic is moving. We don’t have an office in Plant City. The Tampa clinic is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and you can reach it at (813) 235-4111.
Why drive to Tampa instead of booking something closer?
Search for tattoo removal near Plant City and you mostly find businesses where it is one service on a long menu. There is a dermatology office whose page belongs to a Brandon practice, medical spas that lead with hair removal, facials and injectables, and a handful of tattoo studios. That can work for some people. If you would rather go to a place that does nothing else, the closest EradiTatt clinic is in Tampa, and the drive is mostly interstate.
Here is what that trip gets you:
- A removal-only clinic. EradiTatt has done laser tattoo removal since 2015 and offers no other treatments. No upselling to facials or fillers.
- The same clinician each visit. Owner Melissa Hoperich, FNP, a family nurse practitioner, performs the treatments, so your progress is tracked by the person who saw your tattoo at the start.
- A laser with range. We use the PiQo4, which has four wavelengths and both picosecond and nanosecond pulses. Different inks respond to different settings, and that flexibility matters for multicolor work and for older tattoos that have blurred.
- Cold air during treatment. A Zimmer Cryo 6 chiller blows cold air across the skin while the laser works, which takes the edge off the sting.
- Published prices. You can see what a session costs below, before you ever get in the car.
Which tattoos can be removed or faded?
We treat black and colored body tattoos, from small lettering to large pieces on the back or thigh. If you are planning new work over an old design, we can fade the old tattoo enough that your artist has a clean base to cover. Fading usually needs fewer sessions than taking ink all the way off, and it is worth telling us your artist’s plan at the consultation so we know when to stop.
Cosmetic ink is treated too. That includes microblading, powder brows and traditional eyebrow tattoos that healed too dark, turned an odd color or just no longer suit you.
There are a few situations where we wait: pregnancy, Accutane taken within the past six months, blood thinners, an autoimmune condition, a recent tan on the area, or a strong allergy to tattoo ink. If any of those apply, mention it when you book and we will work out timing with you.
How much does laser tattoo removal cost for Plant City clients?
There is no Plant City price and no Tampa price, just one price list based on the size of the tattoo. A single session runs from $100 to $600. Buying four sessions at once takes 20% off.
| Size | Roughly | Per session | 4-session pack (20% off) |
|---|---|---|---|
| XX-Small | smaller than a quarter | $100 | $320 |
| X-Small | smaller than a credit card | $175 | $560 |
| Small | smaller than a dollar bill | $225 | $720 |
| Medium | smaller than a CD | $300 | $960 |
| Large | smaller than a DVD case | $400 | $1,280 |
| X-Large | up to a sheet of paper | $600 | $1,920 |
Two examples to make the table concrete. A name on the inside of the wrist that is smaller than a credit card is X-Small, at $175 per session or $560 for a four-pack. A half-sleeve section about the size of a CD lands in Medium, at $300 per session or $960 for four. How many sessions you will need depends on the ink, the colors, how deep it sits and your skin, so you get a personal estimate at your free consultation, not a guess over the phone.
Two more ways to save: veterans and active-duty military get 15% off, and you earn a $50 credit for each friend you refer who books. Not sure what size you have? Use the photo quote form and we will tell you. The full tier breakdown lives on our tattoo removal cost page.
How many trips to Tampa will it take?
For complete removal, most people need 8 to 12 sessions, booked 6 to 8 weeks apart. The laser breaks the ink into tiny pieces, and your body’s immune system clears those pieces out over the following weeks. You can’t hurry that part, which is why sessions are spaced out and why the whole process often takes a year or more.
For a Plant City client, that works out to roughly one round trip every other month. The laser time itself is short, usually 5 to 15 minutes, so most of your time goes to the drive. If you want to make the trip count, International Plaza is right next door, and the airport is minutes away. You can see how a visit runs on our laser tattoo removal process page, and browse before-and-after results and reviews to see what other clients’ progress looked like.
How do you get from Plant City to the clinic?
Plant City sits about 25 miles east of downtown Tampa, and I-4 connects the two directly. The route is simple:
- Get on I-4 West. Plant City has several I-4 interchanges, including Park Road near the HCC campus, SR 39, Thonotosassa Road and Branch Forbes Road. Use whichever is closest; from Walden Lake and the south side of town, SR 39 north to Thonotosassa Road is a common way to reach the interstate.
- Stay on I-4 through Seffner and East Tampa until it ends at the downtown interchange with I-275.
- Take I-275 South toward Tampa International Airport and St. Petersburg.
- Exit at Westshore Boulevard (exit 40A) and turn right, heading north on Westshore Boulevard. The clinic is at 1715 N Westshore Blvd, Suite 100, inside Infinity Medical Institute.
Outside rush hour that is about 40 to 50 minutes. The slow spots are I-4 through East Tampa and the I-4/I-275 junction, which back up on weekday mornings and late afternoons. A late-morning weekday slot or a Saturday morning appointment usually means an easier drive. Before you leave, check Google Maps directions from Plant City for live traffic.
Does removal fit around strawberry season and outdoor work?
Plant City is known as the Winter Strawberry Capital, and plenty of people here spend long days outside, whether in the fields, on job sites or running a booth at the Florida Strawberry Festival in late February and early March. Others work shifts at the distribution centers in the city’s industrial parks. Laser treatment can fit around any of that if you plan for a few rules:
- Keep the area out of the sun for at least 4 weeks before each session. Tanned skin over the tattoo means the appointment gets pushed back. Long sleeves or a covering work well for arm tattoos.
- Skip workouts for 24 hours afterward. If your job is physically demanding, ask us about booking before a day off.
- Keep the treated spot covered for 2 to 3 days. After that, protect it from sun every time it is exposed.
Cooler months are a natural time to start because covering up is easier; our article on choosing the time of year to get a tattoo removed in Tampa explains why. For general first-visit questions, see the tattoo removal FAQ.
Is there another EradiTatt clinic that might suit you?
For most of Plant City, Tampa is the nearest clinic. If you live on the east side and spend more time heading toward Orlando, our Orlando clinic on Turkey Lake Road offers the same treatment and the same prices. Neighbors in Brandon make a similar trip west, and our guide for Brandon residents covers routes from that side of the county. To ask about openings, use the contact page or call the Tampa clinic.
